The Dream Reels team is composed of passionate and creative professionals, specializing in various aspects of film and video production. Originating from the Chinese team Winterman Studio, they have created over a hundred paid comic works, including hit titles such as The Sword Immortal Will Never Be a Freeloader, The Sword Immortal Will Never Be a Slave, and The First War God. These comics have garnered billions of paid views, with The First War God winning the prestigious Golden Dragon Award. Many of their works have been distributed internationally to countries and regions such as Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and North America.
In early 2019, the team ventured into animated comic projects, developing dynamic manga titles like Queen of the Scumbags, The Poisonous Consort, 3,000 Years of Cultivation, and The Dragon King’s Palace. These works have collectively exceeded 5 billion video views across all platforms.
By March 2020, Dream Reels expanded into the short video sector, producing Kuaishou short dramas such as A Woman’s Revenge, The Struggles of a Single Mother, A Woman’s Rebirth, and Remarriage, each averaging over 400 million views. On Youku, their short dramas Fatal Housewives and A Wife Should Not Be Wronged achieved impressive revenue shares of 10 million and 8 million yuan, respectively. Several works have entered Kuaishou’s billion-view club and topped Kuaishou Mini-Theater’s Hot Broadcast List at #1.
